Introduction

Current

Welcome! Rather than tell you about myself, I listed my 2 favorite quotes below and described why they have meaning to me. Enjoy!

Picture of Me

"Please do not be cynical. I hate cynicism. For the record, it's my least favorite quality. It doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and are kind, amazing things will happen. I'm telling you, amazing things will happen." - Conan O'Brien

The perfect pick-me-up quote from Conan O'Brien's final words as host of NBC's Tonight Show. He had the carpet pulled from under him in the tough world of show business and still had the strength and humility to understand the importance of the road that life takes us down, good or bad. And what better advice can one give after experiencing hardship than to remember to keep working hard and continuing to be kind and grateful.

"Not making a decision is a decision, and it's typically the wrong one." - Ken Lieberthal

Aren't we all a product of our decisions? And oftentimes I've found myself regretting my choice when I sided with indecision or no action. When I came across this quote during my university days, it struck me as a quote worth keeping. Though not perfect, I'm better now at setting aside fears of failure or embarrassment and making smarter, thoughtful decisions that have, so far, paid off many times over.

Long Time Ago...

Born near Seattle, WA, I spent 15 years in Hong Kong until I graduated high school in 2004. I was fortunate enough to have traveled throughout Asia and Europe when I was young and no matter the continent and their diverse cultures, an important theme I have come across is the desire for community development and environmental protection. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Political Science and an Environmental Studies minor. Combined with my work experience in marketing and sales, I hope to work for a company with aspirations of making our world a better place, whether it be socially, environmentally, or both.
