I currently live and work in Hong Kong. I work for MKL Enterprise Ltd, a trading company that specializes in manufacturing products in China. Anything from car parts to BBQ grills, home appliances to fireplace products. I work with customers and factories and handle the logistics of not just having a product made and tested, but also shipping the goods to the buyer's front door. How about that for service? I'll take away all the headaches imagined from dealing with Chinese factories for just a small commission.

Before Hong Kong, I used to live and work in New York City where I was an E-Commerce Sales and Marketing Professional with Shoemania Inc. I was responsible for the placement of Shoemania's products through Amazon's merchant platform and dealing with product pricing and promotions. I also oversaw Shoemania's customer service department, helping to resolve issues of returns/exchanges, quality control, lost shipments, and inventory.
Before moving to New York, I lived in Seattle, WA where I worked briefly as a part-time Home Theater Specialist in Best Buy. I discovered a new found respect for sales as I was constantly challenged to give the best possible service to potential customers while simultaneously seeking to achieve and surpass numerical sales targets passed down from store managers. The art of the sale, I realized, was/is more complicated than any class I had ever taken while in college but I saw myself improving every day in sales, service, and communication and therefore I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked there.
From 2008-2009, I worked as a marketing assistant for the Inter-Cooperative Council (ICC), a non-profit student housing company in Ann Arbor, MI. It was my responsibility to market the company's 550+ rooms to students on campus using both traditional print media and online advertising. The position taught me the value of online advertising in today's digital age and the importance of establishing a credible and clean website to generate sales.

Born near Seattle, WA, I spent 15 years growing up in Hong Kong until graduating from Hong Kong International School in 2004. I was fortunate enough to have traveled throughout Asia and Europe when I was young and no matter the continent and their diverse cultures, an important theme I have come across is the need for community development, environmental protection and sustainable living. I graduated from the University with a degree in Political Science and an Environmental Studies minor. Combined with my work experience in marketing and sales, I hope to work for a company with aspirations of making our world a better place, whether it be socially, environmentally, or both.
